It is my honor and Pleasure to inaugurate the new web site of the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Pakistan .
Hopefully, this web site will facilitate the acquisition of useful Information about Yemen and its relations with Pakistan.

Yemen with its historical reputation, strategic location for trade between the East and the West, its human and natural resources was fairly named As "Arabic Felix".

The Republic of Yemen, which emerged in May 1990 from the Northern and Southern states, is forward-looking country committed to Democracy, economic progress, and welfare of its people.
Since the reunification, Yemen led by H.E. the elected President Ali Abdullah Saleh who is making his utmost efforts to mark it a land of prosperity, peace, and stability in the Arabian Peninsula.
It is a matter of pride and pleasure to witness the recent flourishing Brotherly relations between Yemen and Pakistan . This era was marked by the visit of H.E. President General Pervaiz Musharraf to Yemen in December in 2005,which fruited in signing some very important Agreements in Oil and Gas, Security, Vocational Training, and Air Transport.
This excellent relation culminated by the formal visit of H.E. president Ali Abdullah Saleh to Pakistan in April 2006 which was highly appreciated by the government and people of Pakistan and resulted in opening wide range of cooperation in many fields by signing agreements of cooperation In promotion of export, quality and standardization ,media, tourism, and Youth and sport.
The two leaders of Yemen and Pakistan have the same vision of looking after the interests of their own beloved countries as well as their concern for the development of the Islamic Ummah.
It is worth while mentioning that solidarity of the Yemeni government and people's Support to their brothers in Pakistan after the disastrous earthquake in October 2005.
Beside the immediate relief items of 70 tons, a fund rising of the people Reached 3.5 million USD was transferred to President Musharraf relief fund.
May Allah Almighty bless both countries Yemen and Pakistan and grant them Power and strength to overcome all difficulties facing them and to accomplish glorious prosperity.
